Vine Antennas has been appointed sole distributor for commercial antennas made from Justin Johnson's excellent designs. We are working on a number of models and currently offer the following antennas. We shortly hope to offer the boom to element insulators as a part to home-builders. More details to follow.

DUBUS Magazine has the exclusive release of the details for these antenna with some of the first models described in a forthcoming DUBUS article.   We wish to gratefully acknowledge the kindness of the editors in allowing us to reproduce this article, which may be found by clicking here.

The Loop Fed Antenna  (LFA) provides superior performance over the traditional Yagi in many areas and provides a platform which provides Quad and Yagi features in one visually pleasing package.

Tired of all that noise you pick up from around your own home and other building near where you live?

LFA benefits are massive suppression side lobes in both the H and V planes, which means minimum local noise pick up and minimum interference when transmitting. LFA's also have wide SWR bandwidths and excellent return loss characteristics. Learn even more about the LFA by clicking here http://www.g0ksc.co.uk/whatis.html

"Had it (6M6LFA)measured and swr is perfect, the reflection co-efficient measured here an incredible 39 dB.Never found such figures on a antenna in real life. - 73's de Paul PA3GND"

"Re 6M5LFA - I'm well pleased so far, swr flat, pattern much sharper and f/b is superb. Still have the power line noise so cant really tell what the noise floor is like until that gets fixed (Tony EI7BMB)"

Put it up and found that compared to my old yagi the performance was better, on both reception and transmission. A pity the season almost had ended but still managed to work some new DXCC in the West Indies. Reports are fine and often I get through first inthe pile ups. I run no ampl. just 200 watts. Not all the local trash has gone but I think this is hardly possible anymore these days, but surely it has improved. This means in my eyes witha sharper forward pattern and more sensitive antenna being able to reduce noise is a double bonus. My conclusion so far is that these yagis rock , really perform in real life. You have done a fantastic job ! Paul PA3GND re 6M6LFA

The antennas shown below are current models we have designed and built. Others will be added to the range.
