HF Bandpass filters from Vine Antenna Products
HF bandpass filters help to overcome overloading from local broadcast stations, or from other amateur radio stations on the same site in a Multi-Single or Multi-Multi environment. In addition, they reduce radiated out-of band noise and harmonics. Top contest stations need to transmit or listen on more than one band at once and attack the problem of overload, spurious transmissions and harmonics by the use of bandpass filters at both receive and transmit environments.
Multi-band automatic Bandpass filter - Dunestar 600.
Dunestar multi-band filter is for all non-WARC HF bands 160-10m. The unit is for intermittent (ie CW and SSB service) with a maximum 200W transmit output into 50 ohms at less than 1.5:1 VSWR. Insertion loss is typically 0.5 to 0.7 dB, with isolation ref other bands of -40 dB. The unit is typically connected at the antenna output of a driving transceiver before the linear amplifer, and controlled with TopTen devices Band Decoder. The unit is housed in a modem type case with DB9 control connector and SO239's for input and output (N-connectors on request).
