**Antenna surface area should only be used as a GUIDE. Imagine a plate 1m X 1m. That's 1 sq metre, right?

Now put it right on the stub mast. OK!. Now put it on ONE END of a 10m boom. Still 1 sq metre but absolutely NOT OK as the torque is multiplied by the length of the boom as well as being totally unbalanced. Please consult with us if you have any doubt about wind loadings. Some antennas (Cushcraft X7 and X9 for instance) are so atrociously wind-balanced that the only cure is dummy elements at the front of the antenna.

ALL PST ROTATORS SHARE THESE FEATURES

Check out competitors units to see if they have all these features. In particular ask what bearings are used THROUGHOUT the unit, and - particularly - where the brake is. Only the PST's have it where it counts right on the final gear.

WHAT COMES IN THE BOX ?

For PST641 and 2051 only, we can supply a lower mast clamp set, but this requires the use of a mast bearing above it. Contact us for more details. Special cable from your PC to the control unit for RS-232 connection is £10.

All Prosistel rotators come with a full TWO-YEAR parts and labour warranty. Which other rotator manufacturer has sufficient confidence in their product to offer that? The answer - None of them!!!!

If you aren't sure of which one is suitable for your application, please contact us, and we will advise. As a guide in areas not subject to severe weather, the PST641 is OK for tribanders like the SteppIR 2el, Cushcraft A3, A4S, MA5-B, HyGain TH3 and TH5, KLM34A, Force 12 C-3S, C3SS, and medium VHF stacks. The PST2051 for SteppIr 3el, Cushcraft  X-7 / X-9, Hygain TH7/TH11, KLM34XA, Force 12 C31XR, and larger VHF stacks. PST61 suitable for big monobanders, SteppIr 4 4el, HF/40m stacks, and four-stacks on 6m, 8 yagis on 2m etc. PST 71 is for full-size 40m and 80m yagis, rotating towers, and that 16-yagi array that would make a big noise on 2m EME. PST110D is for very large arrays.  If you live in a severe weather area then please take detailed advice from us before selecting a rotator.
