The new model "D" controller offers a number of advantages over previous models. (NB upgrade to "D" controller from earlier A and B models is only available for PST641 and 2051 models, and then the wiring must be changed). The excellent pre-set feature (dial up your desired direction and the rotator will move to it without further operator intervention) has been retained. The key-paddle CW and CCW switch has been replaced with more reliable separate switches.Positional accuracy is to one degree. The direction preset may be set in 3 degree increments (120 direction segments over 360 degrees via the front-panel rotary preset encoder. Controllers are supplied for 220/240VAC. 110V selectable internally.

The setting of the "stop" position is adjustable. This feature has turned out to be quite useful. We had a customer ring us, to ask if there was any way of limiting travel to less than 360 degrees. He wanted to "side mount" an antenna half-way down a tower, and have it only rotate through 300 degrees, to avoid hitting the tower structure. We told him that the PST range had an electronically-adjustable stop limit feature, but confessed we had never tried  to adjust the stop positions. Ten minutes later, we were able to ring the customer, having performed a simple adjustment  on a controller here, to limit the travel to the customers exact requirements. The sale was made!

NEW - PST D-PRO Range

As regular D-controller but for use with new PRO-range rotators with Hall-Effect encoder control of position feedback.

NOW AVAILABLE - Software for visually-impaired users (Model D controllers only). This software allows control of the rotator via audio prompts using the PC soundcard to echo commands and announce the bearing reached. Please ask us for a FREE copy if you are interested.
